De concerten en de opnamen worden geroemd mede dankzij de uitstekende belichting van Lumiteus. Lichtontwerper Teus van der Stelt is volkomen dienstbaar aan de muziek en de historische ruimte van de kathedraal. Sfeervol en met inhoud ontvouwt zich elk jaar een ‘verhaal’ in muziek en beeld.’

‘Als regisseur heb ik vaak met Teus gewerkt en onder alle mogelijke werkomstandigheden; van producties waarbij financieel ruimte was tot complexe producties waarbij weinig middelen ter beschikking stonden. Teus kan heel snel de essentie vatten van een productie en die essentie vertalen in zijn licht- composities. Zijn licht staat nooit los op zichzelf, maar voegt altijd een nieuwe dimensie toe aan de productie. Ook als er weinig tijd en middelen zijn. Dat is een bijzondere kwaliteit die niet veel lichtontwerpers hebben.’
